In earlier days, the status of the
women in India was too inferior as that of men. Now, it’s found satisfactory in
some part and inadequate in rest of the division of our country. This result is
due to lack of education.
With the wise understanding of their
status, Jawaharlal Nehru once said, “If you educate a man you educate an
individual, however, if you educate a woman you educate a whole family. Women
empowered means mother India empowered”.
